Thank you for coming to Easy Veggie Recipes! I’m so glad you’re here 🙂

My Story

I’m a vegetarian myself, and have been for nearly 30 years. I’ve made my way through several vegetarian methods.  These include

  • the “plain” vegetarian, which eliminates all meat-based foods and allows milk, milk products, and eggs
  • vegan foods, which also eliminates all meat-based foods *and* milk, milk products, and eggs.

I’ve used legumes and tofu as my protein sources, to include blending tofu into my spaghetti sauce! I love to experiment and find new combinations and recipes to add to my repertoire and have even experimented a little with raw foods.

Why I Want to Help You

There are several reasons that easy recipes can be helpful for you. One is that you may need a quick, nutritious meal at the end of a long day; I hope you can find something here that will interest you. Another is that you don’t have much experience with vegetarian recipes; I’d like to help you see that these can be a springboard for you and will maybe eventually move you forward into something more complicated that will add to your experience. Or maybe you’re just looking for a whole new taste experience; I’d love to help you find a simple recipe can give you that experience quickly and easily!

The Goals of This Site

To wrap things up, this site’s goals are to expose the beginner to recipes that are uncomplicated and require little to no cooking experience, as well as provide a wide variety of flavors to choose from.  Nutrition will be another component of this site.

If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments below and I will be more than happy to help you out. In addition, if you have any suggestions for new recipes or even recipes you know of that I can publish here, I’d love to hear from you!
